For each set there are 20 figures + 1 racing car with a driver inside, based on the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
There are 2 reasons why these are the most pricy Mini GT items ever:
1. In order to research how many pit crews and each pit crew’s actions, the engineering team entered the pits and took videos for data collection. As you may know that F1’s average pit stop time is about three seconds. It is definitely not an easy job to record clearly.
2. Each figure is unique, and the logo on the fireproof clothing can only be pasted with decals, each figure contains 10 decals and there are 20 figures per set, so there are 200 decals applied on each set!
Because of so much efforts to produce, there are only limited production to 5,000 sets per model.
